At the first VAN INTERNATIONAL ENTREPRENEUR AND INVESTOR SUMMIT, held on JUNE 30th and 31st in 2022, Inv. Bahareh Sharifioun did many things for the sake of innovative women in the invention and innovation ecosystem.
The first Van International Entrepreneur and Investor Summit was jointly organized by Van Incubation Center, Inter Islamic Network on Science & Technology Parks, and Van Technopark.
This innovation and investment exhibition was held on the 30th and 31st of June, 2022, in Van, Turkey.
The aims of the Van International Entrepreneur and Investor Summit were to promote technology-based entrepreneurs and technology-based products developed in international technoparks, and Ms. Sharifioun was there to be sure that women from the whole world would have a fair share of this market and platform.
Moreover, Ms. Sharifioun helped with selecting and rewarding the best of the technology startup ideas and products at the exhibitions at the festival. As the Advisor of Women Entrepreneurship Affairs In the IFIA Innovation Standard project, she talked to all of the participants individually. This is part of her advice for them:
"I am proud you, a female inventor, are doing your best to try to expand the share of women in the invention and innovation ecosystem.
As we know, today's world needs to use women's characteristics in the field of innovation management in different sectors.
Innovative women with a business-oriented strategic view of local and international issues can be productive in the commercialization of creative ideas.
Currently, women entrepreneurs are the creators of mega brands all around the world.
Moreover, we all hope that this platform will help us, the female inventors and innovators, to show our high level of innovation in the invention ecosystem. And by attending these festivals, the world can understand and appreciate women's ideas and innovations."
Moreover to this matter, Ms. Sharifioun talked to all of the innovators and investors at the Van International Entrepreneur and Investor Summit. She told them about her point of view on commercialization, investment, fundraising, business, and innovation and guided women especially.
Also, Inv. Bahareh Sharifioun had the chance to have a meeting with the The president of science acadey of european, Mrs. Barroness, and they talked about drawing up a cooperation memorandum with the IIS department so that more female innovators from the world would be able to connect with the invention and innovation society and ecosystem. By having the support of the European Union and Sharifioun's efforts and presence, IIS will surely move forward in women's affairs in its whole community.
